Girls can discover the joy of rugby with our Mini's from age 5
Our thriving Minis’ Rugby provides a dynamic and engaging environment for both boys and girls aged 5 to 11 which is where the rugby journey begins, fostering a love for the game and building the foundational skills that will last a lifetime. Girls and boys train and play together, creating a sense of teamwork and bonding that transcends gender. However once girls reach year 3 at school, they can also join in our dedicated Girls rugby training sessions.
Dedicated girls rugby training age 7-16
As your young rugby enthusiasts continue to grow and thrive, their journey with us is just beginning. Recognising the importance of supporting and nurturing our girls from the Minis' section, we're thrilled to introduce the Lionesses Rugby Academy. Designed for girls from school year 3 and upwards who dream of becoming rugby stars or simply have a passion for the sport and a desire to enhance their skills, the Lionesses Rugby Academy offers dedicated training sessions tailored to the younger and older girls age groups. These sessions provide a welcoming and secure environment where girls can learn, develop, and flourish. Plus, they often have the opportunity to train alongside some of our women's team members.
Our Lionesses Academy girls rugby training takes place on Thursdays at 6.30-7.30pm, however please do get in touch with us before joining us for the first time as these times as on rare occasions they can be subject to change availability, weather etc. Any fixtures are typically held on a Sunday morning.
