Baz Basra has released a hidden gem from his ranks of players to join his impressive coaching team.
Whilst in recent seasons veteran Kieron Davies has often stepped in to cover sessions, Baz has identified his depth of experience and appointed him to lead as attack coach.
Unknown to most the modest Assistant Head Teacher at Priory Academy, Dunstable, has been capped 39 times for Germany. Qualifying through his Mother, his natural talents were first identified as an eighteen year old. He last lined up in 2019 against Russia and Spain in World Cup qualifiers.
He is a well travelled club player, early experience in Germany and France, followed by stints at Ampthill, O.As and Hertford. Family and work commitments having now clipped his wings, he is looking forward to working with a great team of coaches and a young playing squad. His technical ability is second to none. Diminutive in stature, his timing and heart saw many a large centre chopped at the knees.
Also capped over twenty times for The National Sevens team, Kieron’s instinct is to attack when least expected. Promising times ahead for the faithful spectators at Legends Lane.
