On Saturday Letchworth Braveherts Mixed Ability Rugby Team were invited to represent Saracens at a Project Rugby show piece event at the Premier Rugby Final at Twickenham.
Project Rugby is a joint funded initiative between the Rugby Football Union and Premiership Rugby to attract players to rugby who have previously been excluded from the game by Ethnicity, Culture, Deprivation, Mental Health and any form of disability.
Braveherts - as a long standing team - were invited to play in an inclusive touch rugby tournament then showcase this at half time in the Premiership final between Saracens and Exeter Chiefs. 18 players took the field and showed what can he achieved, show casing some great skills in front of the majority of the 75,000 crowd. It was a once in a life time experience for everyone.
