The present Letchworth Under 13 team have picked up a National Award from the RFU following their efforts during the first Lockdown, when they were in fact the Under 12s.
Their volunteering and fund raising were deemed over and above the norm and their combined efforts have also made them grow closer as a team.
President Brian Burke said “We are all very proud of all members of the club who volunteered for various duties in the lockdown but the efforts of these young adults were exceptional and they more than deserve their award”.
