We’re delighted to promote the official Letchworth Rugby Club YouTube channel, which is fast becoming the home for match footage and highlights.
Senior Men’s Rugby – Front and centre
The channel currently focuses on our senior men’s teams, promoting our sponsors and giving supporters, players and families the chance to relive key moments from the season and catch up on games they may have missed.
From the high-tempo, competitive rugby of the 1st XV Legends to the passion, grit and development on show from The 1924s. Featuring match recordings and highlights allow players to review performances, supporters to follow the teams home and away, and the wider rugby community to see what rugby at Legends Lane and on the road, is all about. For those unable to travel or make it to a fixture, it’s the next best thing to being on the touchline.
It also offers prospective players a genuine look at the club - not just the rugby, but the culture, competitiveness and camaraderie that comes with pulling on a Letchworth shirt. Whether you’re a player looking for a new challenge or someone returning to the game, our channel shows exactly what you can expect.
Looking to the future
While the current focus is on senior men’s rugby, this is only the beginning. As the channel grows, we will be exploring opporuntities to include content from around the Club including our Lionesses – our rapidly growing women and girls' section, and Colts rugby – showcasing the next generation coming through the club.
Women’s and girls’ rugby continues to grow at an incredible rate, and the Lionesses are a vital part of Letchworth Rugby Club’s present and future. Likewise, our Colts represent the pathway from youth rugby into the senior game. Featuring these teams in the future will help celebrate their achievements, inspire new players, and reflect the inclusive, forward-looking nature of the club.
