A new way to give back, stay connected and enjoy a few hours with great company.
Letchworth Rugby Club is delighted to launch the Tuesday Club – a new initiative for retired club members who would like to spend a few hours helping around the club, catching up with old friends and enjoying the unique camaraderie that makes our club so special.
Whether you’re a former player, volunteer, supporter or simply someone who enjoys being part of the club, we’d love you to join us.
What’s it all about?
The Tuesday Club is a chance to:
- Give a few hours back to the club
- Socialise with fellow retired members
- Enjoy plenty of laughs and good company
- Finish the morning with a bite to eat, a tea or coffee, and a well-earned drink
There’ll be a variety of jobs to suit all interests and abilities. Whether you enjoy getting stuck into practical tasks and odd jobs, or would rather lend a hand with administration, finance or organisational tasks, there’s something for everyone.
Our Amenities Manager, “Thin Les”, will coordinate the day’s activities and make sure everyone has a role they’re happy with.
The Tuesday Club will be led by our President, Michael Dagless, whose idea it was to get the group up and running.

There’s absolutely no expectation to attend every session. Come whenever you can, but we’d love to build a regular group who enjoy helping the club while making the most of a few enjoyable mornings together.
The only contribution we ask is £5 per session, which helps cover refreshments, tea, coffee and lunch.
